Overpass is a four-piece indie-rock band from Birmingham, England, whose heart-on-sleeve, anthemic sound and high-energy live shows have earned them a devoted young following across the UK and Europe. Fronted by singer Max Newbold, the group pairs candid, unguarded lyrics with an exuberant guitar-driven core shaped by influences as varied as The War On Drugs, Tom Petty, Slowdive and Jeff Lynne. After several acclaimed EPs, they released their debut album "Elsewhere, Always" on 5 June 2026, produced by Rich Turvey and mixed by Cenzo Townshend. In September 2026 the band brings the album to Germany for the first time, with shows in Cologne, Berlin and Hamburg.
