About

Philharmonia Frankfurt is an international orchestra founded in 2019, made up of around 45 musicians from Europe, Turkey, Israel, South America, Asia and Australia. Its artistic director and chief conductor is the Frankfurt-based conductor Juri Gilbo. The ensemble's repertoire spans from Baroque music through large-scale symphonic works to contemporary compositions, and also embraces chamber music and crossover projects with rock, jazz and electronic artists. It has performed at venues such as Frankfurt's Alte Oper, the Berlin Philharmonie and halls in Hamburg, Leipzig and Duesseldorf, and has toured internationally to South Korea, Israel, China and South America.
