Podewitz is a German comedy duo formed in 1993 by the brothers Willi and Peter Podewitz, both from Bremerhaven. On stage they combine comedy, wordplay and situational humour into a blend of melancholy, delusion and absurdity. Alongside their own live programmes, the pair have for many years written material for satirical radio and television comedy formats on German broadcasters. Their work has earned several honours, including the German Cabaret Prize (Deutscher Kabarettpreis).
