Prayers for Rain is a German cover band devoted entirely to the music of the English band The Cure. Based around Hanover and Frankfurt, the group has been performing for roughly 25 years. Singer Lukas is noted for a voice regarded as remarkably close to that of the original, Robert Smith. The band plays regularly at clubs and festivals across Germany and is described by its audiences as one of the finest Cure cover bands in Europe.
