Pulp is an English rock band formed in Sheffield in 1978 by frontman Jarvis Cocker. At their peak the line-up featured Jarvis Cocker, Russell Senior, Candida Doyle, Nick Banks, Steve Mackey and Mark Webber. During the 1990s Pulp became one of the leading Britpop bands, with hits such as "Common People" and the album "Different Class." In 2025 they released the album "More," their first number-one album since "This Is Hardcore."
