About

Ralf Schmitz (born 3 November 1974 in Leverkusen) is a German comedian, actor, TV host and author. After training as an actor and dancer, he spent four years with the Bonn-based improv theatre ensemble Die Springmaus, where he honed his improvisation skills. He became known to a wide audience through the sketch show Die Dreisten Drei, which earned him the German Comedy Award as Newcomer of the Year in 2003, and he won the award again in 2005 with the improv show Schillerstrasse. Since 2005 he has also toured Germany with solo stage shows built around improvisation and audience interaction.
