About
Rea Garvey (born Raymond Michael Garvey in 1973) is an Irish singer, songwriter and guitarist based in Germany. In 1998 he co-founded the rock band Reamonn, serving as its frontman through several gold- and platinum-certified albums and sold-out European tours before the group disbanded in 2010. He then pursued a solo career, releasing his debut album "Can't Stand the Silence" in 2011 and shifting from Reamonn's rock sound toward alternative pop. He remains an established name on the German-language music scene.
