About
Sascha Thamm is a reading comedian and author whose roots lie in poetry slam, where he won numerous competitions before moving on to comedy stages. His texts pick apart the seemingly trivial details of everyday life and play gleefully with language, somewhere between suburban respectability and punk rock. His first book, "Dynamitfischen in Venedig", was chosen as WDR 2's book tip of the week. In 2025 he won the audience award at the "Tegtmeiers Erben" competition in Herne.
