About

Scott & Muriel is the stage duo of Scott Nelson and Muriel Brugman, who blend magic with slapstick, clowning and visual comedy. Their shows revolve around two characters, an overeager assistant and a wonderfully clumsy magician, for whom nothing seems to go to plan. The core of their current act won them the Grand Prix at the FISM World Championships of Magic in 2000. Because their performances rely very little on words, they work across language barriers and turn up at international festivals as well as in variety theatre and circus.
