Semicenk, the stage name of Cenk Baş, is a Turkish singer and songwriter born on 7 October 1998 in Boyabat, in Turkey's Sinop Province. He first drew wider attention on the 2019 season of the television contest O Ses Türkiye, where he joined Hadise's team. His December 2021 single “Düşer Aklıma” became his breakthrough and went on to be streamed more than 100 million times, and he has since collaborated with artists such as Funda Arar, Mustafa Ceceli and Reynmen. At the 2023 Altın Kelebek Awards he was named Best Breakthrough Singer, while his duet with Doğu Swag, “Pişman Değilim,” won Song of the Year.
