Senta Berger

About

Senta Berger is an Austrian-German actress and film producer, born in Vienna in 1941. During the 1960s she appeared in international productions alongside stars such as Charlton Heston and Frank Sinatra. She became widely known on German television, notably in the series Kir Royal (1985/86) and over many years as investigator Dr. Eva-Maria Prohacek in Unter Verdacht (2002-2019). In 2016 she starred in the cinema comedy Willkommen bei den Hartmanns, the most-visited German film of that year. Her career has been honoured many times, including the German Film Prize, multiple Bambi awards and the Grimme-Preis.
