The Sex Pistols were an English punk rock band formed in London in 1975, widely regarded as one of the most influential groups of the early punk movement. Their classic lineup featured Johnny Rotten (vocals), Steve Jones (guitar), Paul Cook (drums) and Glen Matlock, later replaced on bass by Sid Vicious. Their only studio album, "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols" (1977), became a landmark of the genre. Despite a short career, songs such as "Anarchy in the U.K." and "God Save the Queen" left a lasting impact on music and youth culture.
