About
Sophie Chassée (born 2 February 1997 in Neuss) is a guitarist, bassist, singer and songwriter based in Cologne. She grew up in Mönchengladbach, trained as a plucked-string instrument maker and studied music at the Institute for Music of Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences from 2017 to 2021. Between 2018 and 2021 she worked as live bassist for Alli Neumann, and in 2022 she played with that band as a Coldplay support act at Frankfurt's Deutsche Bank Park. Her own repertoire combines fingerstyle guitar with self-written songs and vocals. Since 2024 she has also played bass for the band Blumengarten.
