Stefan Waghubinger (born 1 October 1966 in Steyr, Upper Austria) is an Austrian cabaret artist, cartoonist and children's book author who has lived in Germany for more than three decades. After a first stage appearance in 1984 he returned to cabaret for good in 2009 with his solo show "Langsam werd ich ungemütlich", which led to numerous awards and more than 1,500 performances in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He has written children's books and drawn cartoons since 1997 and trained as a theatre educator in 2004. On television he has appeared on shows including "Die Anstalt", "Mitternachtsspitzen", "Spätschicht" and "schlachthof". His current programme is titled "Dass ich alt bin, ist mir neu".
