Susan Kent is a German singer, entertainer and parodist from the Ruhr region who has been performing since 1984 and turned music into her full-time profession in 1996. She is best known for her one-woman show “Divas Live”, which premiered in 2010 at Theater Fletch Bizzl in Dortmund and features up to 20 parodies of famous female artists, from Shirley Bassey to Tina Turner. Her repertoire spans schlager, oldies, and pop and rock classics, with performances at galas, corporate events and festivals across Germany and abroad. She has worked with artists such as Boney M., Johnny Logan and DJ Ötzi and appeared on German TV channels including ZDF, WDR and Sat.1. In 2015 she celebrated her 30th stage anniversary and founded her own rock band, Susan Kent & Friends.
