Omar "Tarrus" Riley (born April 26, 1981, in the Bronx, New York) is a Jamaican-American reggae singer and a member of the Rastafari movement. The son of veteran reggae singer Jimmy Riley, he rose to international prominence with his 2007 hit "She's Royal." His music blends roots reggae and dancehall with conscious, socially aware lyrics. Over his career he has released a string of albums and become one of contemporary reggae's most recognisable voices.
