Tex (real name Christoph Drieschner, born around 1970) is a German singer-songwriter, television presenter and founder of the music format TV Noir, the “living room of songwriters.” He has performed across the German-speaking world for about two decades and is known for intimate concerts that emphasise concentration, atmosphere and strong songs over spectacle. In 2026 he is touring with a solo programme dedicated to the compositions of Leonard Cohen. Musician Moses Pelham has praised him as “the best German-language songwriter.”
