The Dear Hunter is an American progressive rock band from Providence, Rhode Island, formed in 2005 by Casey Crescenzo. It began as a side project while Crescenzo was in The Receiving End of Sirens before becoming his main band. The group is best known for its "Acts", a series of interconnected concept albums running from Act I (2006) to Act V (2016), alongside releases such as The Color Spectrum and Migrant.
