The Dreadnoughts are a Canadian folk-punk band formed in 2006 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Their music blends a wide range of European folk traditions with modern street punk, spanning Celtic punk, polka punk, gypsy punk and sea shanties. Their discography includes Victory Square (2009), Polka's Not Dead (2010) and the World War I concept album Foreign Skies (2017). Known for their high-energy live shows, the band has played roughly 500 concerts across some 30 countries and cites influences such as The Pogues, Gogol Bordello and Dropkick Murphys.
