The Dwarves, also known simply as Dwarves, are an American punk rock band that originally formed in the early 1980s in Chicago, Illinois under the name The Suburban Nightmare. The group has been based in San Francisco, California since 2009 and is counted among the best-known acts of punk and shock rock. Its core members are vocalist Blag Dahlia and guitarist HeWhoCannotBeNamed. The band is notorious for its provocative stage antics and its short, chaotic live performances.
