About
The Fray is an American rock band from Denver, Colorado, formed in 2002 by schoolmates Isaac Slade and Joe King. Their debut album "How to Save a Life" (2005), released by Epic Records, went quadruple platinum in the United States and earned platinum certifications in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. The single "Over My Head (Cable Car)" became a top-ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100, and the follow-up "How to Save a Life" climbed to number three and charted across Europe and beyond. Both songs received Grammy nominations. The band's emotive, piano-driven pop-rock has made them one of the best-known acts of the genre.
