About
The Harvard Krokodiloes, known as "The Kroks", are Harvard University's oldest a cappella singing group, founded in 1946. The ensemble consists of twelve tuxedo-clad undergraduates who perform songs from the Great American Songbook and beyond. The group takes its name from the ancient Greek word krokodilos, meaning crocodile, and its motto is Nunc Est Cantandum, "Now is the time to sing". They have performed on programmes such as The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and Good Morning America, and each summer they embark on an eleven-week tour spanning six continents. Over their history they have recorded dozens of albums.
