The Neighbourhood is an American alternative rock band formed in Newbury Park, California, in 2011. The band consists of vocalist Jesse Rutherford, guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels, bassist Mikey Margott and drummer Brandon Fried. After releasing two EPs, they signed with Columbia Records and put out their debut album, I Love You., in 2013. The single “Sweater Weather” became their biggest hit, reaching No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and regaining popularity years later. Other well-known songs include “Afraid”, “Daddy Issues” and “Softcore”.
