The Sheepdogs are a Canadian rock band formed in 2006 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Rooted in classic and Southern rock, their sound is built on twin guitars, warm vocal harmonies and blues-inflected riffs. In 2011 they became the first unsigned band to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone after winning the magazine's cover contest. They have since released a string of albums and toured extensively across Canada and the United States.
