The Snuts are a Scottish indie rock band from Whitburn in West Lothian, formed in 2015. The line-up consists of Jack Cochrane (vocals, guitar), Joe McGillveray (guitar), Callum Wilson (bass) and Jordan Mackay (drums), most of whom have known each other since their school days. Their debut album W.L. topped the UK Albums Chart in 2021, making them the first Scottish band to reach number one with a debut since The View in 2007. They followed it with Burn the Empire (2022), which peaked at UK number three, and Millennials (2024), which reached number two. Their music draws on indie and alternative rock influences such as The Libertines and Arctic Monkeys.
