Tim Fischer (born 12 March 1973 in Delmenhorst) is a German chansonnier and actor who emerged from the Hamburg cabaret scene in the early 1990s. Across more than three decades he has blended classical chanson with contemporary interpretations, frequently drawing on composers such as Georg Kreisler and Friedrich Hollaender. His best-known programs include a tribute to Zarah Leander and several Kreisler evenings that showcase his sophisticated, often sardonic storytelling. Alongside numerous albums and live performances, he has appeared in film and television, including Herr Lehmann and Babylon Berlin. Among other honours he received the Deutscher Kleinkunstpreis in 1995.
