About
Twin Noir is a post-punk, wave and EBM duo founded in Berlin in 2021, made up of Cody Barcelona (voice, electronics, guitar) and Ian Volt (voice, bass), with Lina Avair handling the operational side and contributing creatively. Their sound is built from an analogue tape machine, a sampler, guitars and a theremin, paired with minimalist German lyrics. Music, visuals, organisation and releases are all handled in house through their own label, Twin Noir Records. Since their first shows the duo has performed in 17 countries, and in early 2026 they announced the album "Chapter 3" together with a European tour.
