About
Valley are a Canadian alternative pop band based in Toronto. They formed in 2014 after members of two bands were accidentally double-booked for the same session at a local recording studio. Following the EPs Car Test (2015) and This Room Is White (2016), they released their debut album Maybe in 2019. The band was nominated for Breakthrough Group of the Year at the 2020 Juno Awards and for Group of the Year in 2022. Since 2024 Rob Laska (vocals), Alex Dimauro (bass) and Karah James (drums) have continued as a trio, and their album Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden was nominated for Alternative Album of the Year at the 2025 Junos.
