William Wahl (born 12 October 1973 in Bochum) is a German singer, songwriter, pianist and cabaret artist based in Cologne. He is a founding member and creative lead of the a cappella ensemble basta and began releasing his own solo albums from 2012. From 2014 to 2018 he formed the duo "Männer am Klavier" with piano comedian Jens Heinrich Claassen. Since 2018 he has toured with his own piano-cabaret programs such as "Wahlgesänge" and "Nachts sind alle Tasten grau," moving virtuosically between poetry and comedy. In 2026 he received the German Kleinkunstpreis in the music category.
