About

Wonk Unit is a DIY punk band from Croydon in south London, formed in 2005. Built on a strongly self-run, do-it-yourself ethos, the band releases its music independently through its own imprint and Bandcamp page. Their sound is often described as punk rock with a difference, distinctive and hard to pin down. The group also founded and runs its own festival, Wonkfest, and has built a devoted, almost cult following.
