About
Yulianna Avdeeva is a pianist born in Moscow in 1985. She rose to international prominence in 2010 when she won the prestigious International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, becoming the first woman to do so since Martha Argerich in 1965. Since then she has performed with leading orchestras and in major concert halls around the world. Her repertoire spans Chopin, the Viennese classics and works of the twentieth century.
