About

Yung Pepp is a young indie rapper from Leipzig, Germany, who grew up in a musical family and started making his own music at the age of twelve. In 2022, aged 13, he released his debut EP “13” and rose to wider attention primarily through social media. His songs deal with anxieties about the future, political issues and the challenges of growing up – his track “Laut Sein (Immer)” takes a stand against right-wing extremism and racism. The band Kraftklub invited him as a support act on their tour, where he performed in front of more than 30,000 people in Dresden.
