Curtiusstr. 2, Essen
The Eissporthalle Essen-West in the Frohnhausen district was built in 1972 and has a 60-by-30-metre ice surface plus an additional 48-by-10-metre training rink. Originally built for around 5,500 spectators, its capacity was reduced to 3,850 seats in 2010; the hall is used by the ESC Moskitos and numerous other ice hockey and skating clubs, and also serves school sports.
