The Immanuelkirche in Dortmund's Marten district was built to designs by architect Arno Eugen Fritsche and consecrated on 18 March 1908. Its central-plan structure over a Greek-cross floor combines Historicist elements such as Romanesque quotations and rusticated stonework with an Art Nouveau façade and interior, making it one of Germany's more notable Art Nouveau churches. Beyond its own congregation, the Immanuelkirche is known as a venue for weddings and concerts.
