The heristo-arena (formerly Gerry Weber Stadion / OWL Arena) is a multi-purpose arena in Halle (Westphalia) that opened in 1993. It holds around 12,300 spectators, has a retractable roof and is best known as the venue of the ATP tennis tournament Halle Open. It also hosts concerts, shows and other sporting events.
