Kleines Haus

Kleines Haus is the smaller, flexible performance space of Bühnen Köln at Offenbachplatz. Since September 2016 the site of the former Opernterrasse has served as a roughly 150-seat interim stage while the main buildings undergo renovation. Built as a variable black-box venue with a lowerable stage floor, it hosts contemporary theatre formats and is due to reopen alongside the opera house, Schauspielhaus and children's opera at Offenbachplatz for the 2026/27 season.
