The Kreuzblume is a full-scale concrete replica of Cologne Cathedral's spire finial, standing on Kardinal-Höffner-Platz right next to the Domforum since 1991. An earlier plastic version had been put up in 1980 to mark the cathedral's centennial, but storm damage led to today's concrete replacement. Sitting right in front of the cathedral's west façade, the spot has become a well-known meeting point and the starting location for guided walking tours of Cologne's old town.
