The Liebfrauenkirche on König-Heinrich-Platz in central Duisburg is a listed church that has been used as a cultural venue for concerts, exhibitions and other events since 2014. Since 2008 it has been run by the Stiftung Brennender Dornbusch foundation, which operates the building as a "Kulturkirche" and meeting point for dialogue between cultures. The church sits centrally between Theater Duisburg and the CityPalais with its Mercatorhalle.
