The MS Moby Dick is a Rhine passenger ship built in 1976 at the Oberkassel shipyard, named after a real white whale that swam up the Rhine as far as Bonn in 1966. Operated by BFF Bonner Fahrgastschifffahrt, it mainly cruises between Bonn and Linz and seats up to 175 guests in its salon (496 total capacity). Onboard, it hosts themed cruises, dinner shows, weddings and fireworks trips such as Rhein in Flammen, and in 2026 the ship is marking its 50th anniversary.
