Museum Ludwig sits directly southeast of Cologne Cathedral on the Domplatte and ranks among Europe's most important museums of 20th- and 21st-century art. It holds Europe's largest Pop Art collection, the world's third-largest Picasso collection, and significant works of German Expressionism and the Russian avant-garde across roughly 9,000 square metres of exhibition space. The Cologne Philharmonic and the Filmforum NRW are housed in the same building.
