PARK Café sits in the middle of Cologne's Rheinpark in the Deutz district, with views of the cathedral and the Rhine. Built in 1957 for the Federal Garden Show to a kidney-shaped design by architect Rambald von Steinbüchel-Rheinwall, the building stood empty for decades before reopening in 2022 following extensive restoration; its spacious summer garden has since held up to 800 guests for after-work parties, concerts and a winter Christmas market.
