Staatenhaus am Rheinpark
Rheinparkweg 1, Köln
The Staatenhaus am Rheinpark is a listed 1920s brick building in Cologne's Deutz district. From 2015 until the end of the 2025/26 season it was the interim venue of Oper Köln while the opera house was renovated; the company has since returned to Offenbachplatz. In July 2026 the city granted ATG Entertainment a hereditary building lease: a new musical theatre, the “Theater am Rhein”, for audiences of up to 1,800 is planned on the site of the former exhibition halls, and the listed Staatenhaus is to be restored.
