The Stadtbibliothek Neuss is the city's public library, with roots reaching back to 1907. In 2019 it recorded around 260,000 visitors, more than 300 events held on-site and a holding of some 113,000 physical media items, functioning both as a lending library and as a venue for readings, talks and the city's cultural programming.
