The Stefanie-Thywissen-Dorsemagen-Saal, the historic council chamber in Neuss's town hall, was named in 2022 after Stefanie Thywissen-Dorsemagen, one of the first three women elected to the Neuss city council in 1919. The hall continues to serve as a venue for municipal meetings, public assemblies and cultural and civic events.
