The Vonovia Ruhrstadion (formerly Stadion an der Castroper Straße) is Bochum's municipal football stadium and the home ground of VfL Bochum. This dedicated football stadium lies in the Grumme district northeast of the city centre and holds around 27,600 spectators. Alongside football matches it is occasionally used for other events.
