The Wolkenburg in Cologne's Severinsviertel traces back to a baroque convent complex of the Benedictine nuns of Rolandswerth, built in 1734. After the original Haus Wolkenburg was destroyed during the war, the Kölner Männer-Gesang-Verein took over the buildings on Mauritiussteinweg as its new home, and the listed building still serves both as the choir's seat and as an event venue for concerts and social occasions.
