Michael Hatzius (born 1982 in East Berlin) is a German puppeteer and comedian best known for his larger-than-life puppet character "Die Echse" (The Lizard). He studied puppetry at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, graduating in 2006.
