René Steinberg (born 10 April 1973 in Mülheim an der Ruhr) is a German cabaret artist and author. After studying German philology in Essen, he began his career as a radio reporter and newsreader before landing his first own comedy series, Heimatarchiv, on Antenne Ruhr in 1998.
