Bastian Bielendorfer (born 24 May 1984 in Gelsenkirchen) is a German comedian, author, podcaster and presenter. The son of two teachers, he rose to national fame in 2010 after an appearance on the quiz show "Wer wird Millionär?", where he announced his plan to write about growing up as a teacher's child. His resulting debut book "Lehrerkind – lebenslänglich Pausenhof" (2011) became a Spiegel bestseller and was followed by further successful titles such as "Papa ruft an". He is also widely known for his podcasts "Alliteration am Arsch" and "Bratwurst und Baklava" and for numerous television appearances. Bielendorfer regularly tours Germany, including North Rhine-Westphalia, with his live comedy stage shows.
