Faisal Kawusi (born 27 July 1991 in Groß-Gerau) is a German comedian, television host and actor. The son of Afghan refugees, he grew up in Mörfelden-Walldorf and rose to prominence through regular appearances on the comedy show "Luke! Die Woche und ich". From 2018 to 2020 he hosted his own program, "Die Faisal Kawusi Show", on the broadcaster Sat.1. He competed in the tenth season of "Let's Dance" in 2017 and has appeared on many other German TV formats such as "TV total" and "Schlag den Star". He tours Germany regularly with his stand-up comedy programmes.
